Membership
The Society was restructured and formed into a limited company in 2008.
New procedures were put in place for ratification of members by the board. Under this new structure it was necessary for all existing members to re apply for membership. (All members on our data base have been written to and invited to join the new structure.)
The methods of applying are outlined below. In 2011 ISG will be introducing a direct debit system which will streamline the system further
Online Member Registration
To join, or renew your membership, why not use our online system.
Postal Member Registration
Simply fill out the appropriate mandate based on your location. These will be then presented to the Board for acceptance. Members will be officially informed of their acceptance and that they have been recorded as members in the company register.
Member Criteria
The Irish Society of Gastroenterology is keen to recruit new members, both medical scientists and non-medical scientists, working in the area of gastrointestinal disease or associated research fields.
New members should be established active practitioners, trainees or investigators in the field of gastroenterology.
